Welcome to my NEW Outlander Kitchen! After an intense weekend of changes and redesign, I’m happy to say that it’s 98% done, and I’m very, very happy with the new look. We’ll start the tour with the Recipe Index, which, other than a couple of new pictures and recipes, hasn’t changed a bit! Here you’ll find all of OK’s recipes, organized by recipe type, book, main ingredient and special category.
The recipe index is the best place to start when you’re looking for a new recipe, or planning an Outlander-themed gathering or dinner party!
The About page has changed pretty dramatically. It now lists articles, features, and videos about myself and Outlander Kitchen, as well as links to online retailers from whom you can PRE-ORDER Outlander Kitchen: The Official Outlander Companion Cookbook.
My Outlander Kitchen now tells the history of OK, and along with some other pages is now found in the “More” drop-down menu at the top of the page.
I’ve also simplified the right-hand sidebars on all of the pages to give the who blog a cleaner, less cluttered look. The one addition to the sidebars is my subscription box. Click on the top link to subscribe to the Outlander Kitchen blog feed to receive new blog posts on your browser timeline or in your email inbox — never miss another recipe or post!

I would like to thank the team behind my new WordPress theme, Avocet. It’s a stunningly beautiful, clean and simple theme that was a breeze to customize. And the couple of times I did run into trouble, the support provided by SuperAvis was immediate and complete. In fact, I love it so much, I’ve also used it to give a new look to my other blog, Island Vittles too!
And now it’s on to Season 2, Outlanders – time is slipping away faster than Claire through the stones, and I have a French-themed Premiere menu to prepare! Watch for it in the next couple of weeks. April 9 will be here before we know it…
